Upon that Hallow

To traipse upon that hallowed ground whither no greater joy is known or felt.

Pure joy; bare soles scuffing the pavement of night as fear flees anon,

Slipping ‘neath the copse of dark to tarry on the firmament of ages.
New love kindled breast-deep under the crescendo of mountain stars.
